Introduction to Hand spinning
Learn to make your own yarn. This class will teach you the basics of spinning yarn. Materials
include a student drop spindle and practice fiber. 9-1130am Saturdays Cost $30

Introduction to the Spinning Wheel
The second part of the spinning series. This two part class takes skills learned in the
introduction to hand spinning class and speeds it up. Types of spinning wheels as well as
different spinning techniques and preparation are discussed. Much of the time is spend
spinning on the wheel. Spinning wheels are provided for no additional charge. Students with
their own wheels are encouraged to bring their own. Fiber for the class is included with fee.
1-3pm Saturdays Cost $60
Session 1: February 8 and March 8 Session 2: April 12 and May 17
Intensive Spinning
The same class as the Introduction to the Spinning Wheel just all in one day. Designed to
accomodate those that cannot get to the two part class. This class will cover all of the
essentials. We recommend the 2 part class for beginners. $60
